Recruitment Chair

The Pinewood Derby is perhaps the Cub Scout event of the year, the embodiment of "Do your best." The designs, the paint jobs, the speed. The chair is responsible for organizing the event, handing out kits in the couple of months before, and in getting enough volunteers to help with all aspects from track setup, check-in, race running, and then cleanup and storage. The chair is also responsible for maintaining the track and electronic timing and race management system.
